I have started furtively drawing people on the bus on the way to my internship. The northbound Damen bus before 9am has the perfect composition of variables that make this possible: relatively empty bus, people’s general morning sluggishness (less movement), and the fact that my route starts at one train stop and ends before another one, meaning many people on the route stay on the bus for a decent period of time. Here are some of my drawings so far.
Just like life drawing class! Although the majority of the time you will get profiles, 3/4 views or (most often) back of heads, which can be a little frustrating. But it only costs one bus fare!
